As we move through the month of February, we are approaching a final release of all that we need to let go of to prepare for this new beginning in the spring. The spring is always the perfect time to begin anew, following the cycles of the seasons. Along with the budding flowers, and planting of seeds, we can sow our own hopes and dreams for the future. This spring, the energy will be even more amplified with a Lunar Eclipse, a Full Moon, on April 15, and a Solar Eclipse, a New Moon on April 28 along with powerful transits of planets in the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.
To prepare for this major shift in the spring, we really need to take time these remaining weeks of winter to continue to break free from the past, cut cords with old behaviors, and release any and all people, places, and things that are keeping us from moving towards the life that we have always dreamed of living.
The Chinese New Year on the last day of January celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Wood Horse – a very different energy from the previous couple of years. The Wood Horse energy is more active, initiating and invigorating; helping us to break out of old ruts that have kept us stuck while we prepare to take that leap onto a new path of our own creation.
Even though, it may still not be clear what the path will look like. We need to allow ourselves to consider all of our hopes and dreams because this can be the year when we really can see them manifest in our lives. Take time to tap into your heart’s desire. What is your passion? What would you do with your life if you were free to follow your dreams? These are all great questions to ask right now, and allow yourself to open up to them without fear.
The energy of this new reality is all about Love. This is the core energy that will connect all of us. We will be connecting through our hearts. Everything needs the heart at its center which means that many relationships will be going through changes. There can be losses of relationships, and new connections coming in as we move onto our new paths. Some relationships will end because the heart connection wasn’t strong enough to hold the two people together in a place of love and gratitude. Some people will choose to stay with a partner, and then have to make profound changes within themselves. The heart connection will be the most important link in relationships.
During this month of February which celebrates Valentine’s Day could be an excellent time to strengthen those heart connections with the people in your own life. Take time to really be present with those people that mean the most to you. Really listen to what they have to say. See them with fresh eyes as if you’ve never seen them before. Love is the highest energy of all. Let it begin with the most important relationships in your own life, and like a rock that sends out circles of vibration when it lands in a pool of water, allow this Love to vibrate out from your own heart to all the circles of people and living beings on this planet. Let the Love begin with You. ♥
