About Donna

Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Donna Fisher-Jackson most recently lived in Northern California in the San Francisco Bay area for 7 years, and in the Gold Country of the Sierra Nevada foothills for 10 years.  In 2014, Donna, and her husband, Jim, with their cat, Zeus sold most of their belongings, and began a whole new lifestyle as Full-time RVers.  In 2017, Donna published her third book, Living the RV Lifestyle:  Practical Advice and Personal Tales from Life on the Road.  The book is a combination of practical information on  RV living as well as personal stories, giving people an idea of what it’s really like to be a Full-time RVer.

Donna also continues her work in the counseling field on the road.  Her counseling business is Iris Holistic Counseling Services which she began in 1999.   With her clients, she shares the insights of Hypnotherapy, the Enneagram, Past-Life Regression, Western Astrology and the Mythic Tarot.  She specializes in life transitions, relationship issues, mid-life, career/vocation and life purpose.

Donna has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology specializing in Holistic Studies from John F. Kennedy University of Northern California.  She has also written the non-fiction book, The Healing Path of the Romantic on the Type Four of the Enneagram Personality Type System.

A Certified Hypnotherapist, Donna utilizes past-life regression in her counseling business as a healing tool.  Based on her own past life memories, she wrote the novel, Clara & Irving:  A Love Story of Past Lives which takes place in the 1920’s and the present time with many scenes at the Zeiterion Theatre, a performing arts center in New Bedford, MA where she once worked as the Director of Public Relations.

Donna looks forward to continuing her RV travels for many years even while living in her next dream home on Cape Cod.  As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.”
